Finished plaster model at approx 1/4"=1'-0". Needs a little cleaning off, but It worked really well. Dirt is a totally viable option for forming an entire building, as long as it is used wisely, that is. Now I have to decide whether I will have enough time to form the 1/2" scale model like this, or if I will have to do it somehow that's faster and cleaner. Depending on how long it takes me to finish up my drawings and site model, the building may have to be formed with clay instead of dirt. It will look mostly the same in the end, it just won't be as special.
